Wed Oct 23 201323:40Reggie Evans plays well in loss
Reggie Evans had 11 points and eight rebounds in 19 minutes on Wednesday.
None of the Nets starters played in this one and we doubt that Evans will post the huge rebounding numbers he racked up last season. Just keep an eye on him on the waiver wire in case he heats up at some point.

Sat May 4 201312:49Reggie Evans still sick, will play Saturday
Reggie Evans (illness) isn't 100 percent but said he'll play Saturday's Game 7 anyway.
Evans hasn't missed a game in the series despite the illness. For the series, Evans is averaging 5.0 points, 12.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 30.5 minutes per game.

Wed May 1 201311:55Reggie Evans sick, expects to play Thursday
Reggie Evans (illness) did not practice on Wednesday, but he's expected to play in Thursday's Game 6 vs. Chicago.
Evans will travel to Chicago and is expected to play, so we're not inclined to think his illness is anything more than a precautionary absence. Evans had four points, 12 boards and two steals in the Game 5 win.

Sun Apr 14 201320:03Reggie Evans grabs 16 boards with no points
Reggie Evans did not score in Sunday's loss to the Raptors, while adding 16 boards, one assist and three steals in 30 minutes.
He has no offensive game and didn't even take a shot today. On the other hand, Evans leads the NBA after the All-Star break in total rebounds by an incredible 52 boards before Dwight Howard plays tonight. That's about all he's good for, though.

Fri Apr 12 201320:56Reggie Evans ejected for two technical fouls
Reggie Evans was ejected from Friday's game with two technical fouls.
It was his third and fourth technical of the season and it's a little surprising that he has so few considering how tough he plays on the glass. Since his 11 technical fouls in 2004-05, he hasn't had more than five in a season. Evans finished with three points, 12 boards and one steal on Friday.

Wed Apr 10 201323:34Reggie Evans scores just one point
Reggie Evans scored just one point to go with 14 boards and one steal in 31 minutes vs. the Celtics on Wednesday.
He didn't take a single field goal attempt, which is something that usually should be the case for one of the worst offensive players in the NBA. Although, Evans shockingly averaged 15.5 points in his previous two games, so he has some value in deeper leagues.

Tue Apr 9 201322:51Reggie Evans does it again with 17 & 24
Reggie Evans stayed red hot on Tuesday with a double-double in the first quarter to finish with 17 points, 24 rebounds and three steals on 6-of-10 shooting.
Yeah, he hit just 5-of-10 free throws, but given the fact he's hit double digits in rebounds in 13 straight games, and has double-doubled in two straight means we can't even make fun of his offense anymore. His offense is still shaky, at best, but he has recorded six double-doubles in the last month, and is simply a must-own, must-start player over the final few games left in the season.

Sat Apr 6 201322:22Reggie Evans grabs 20 rebounds on Sat.
Reggie Evans hauled in 20 rebounds and scored 12 points in 39 minutes of action on Saturday, and he stole the ball twice for good measure.
Kris Humphries was out tonight with sinus congestion, but his presence hardly matters for Evans, who leads the NBA with eight games with 20+ rebounds. He also leads the league in rebounding rate, snatching 26.2 percent of all avaialable boards, and he may be the purest specialist in the league.

Thu Apr 4 201323:00Reggie Evans doesn't score with 13 boards
Reggie Evans shot 0-of-4 from the field and grabbed 13 boards with one steal in 35 minutes against the Bulls on Thursday.
He is arguably the worst offensive player in the NBA and it's a fairly easy argument to make. This season, Evans is shooting 23.8 percent on his jumpers, which is ridiculous considering 93.9 percent of his shots come from within 10 feet. He's only good for one category in fantasy leagues.

Wed Apr 3 201321:32Reggie Evans grabs 18 rebounds in return
Reggie Evans had eight points, 18 rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes on Wednesday, one day after sitting out practice for rest.
The veteran bruiser averaged 28 minutes per game in March, a season-high, and it's not surprising to see him get a little rest. The Nets 21 road wins this season already mark a franchise-best, and it's the first time in the team's history that they've had a winning mark on the road.

Tue Apr 2 201313:34Reggie Evans (rest) out of practice Tuesday
Reggie Evans (rest) went through a limited workout on Tuesday.
Evans has been a beast on the glass for his team recently and the Nets just want to get him some rest before Wednesday's matchup vs. Cleveland.

Sat Mar 30 201302:35The Hustler Reggie Evans goes for 16 & 15
Reggie Evans scored 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting with 16 rebounds in 33 minutes on Friday against the Nuggets.
Evans went nuts with 22 points and 26 boards on Wednesday, but it's hard to see him bucking a season-long trend of disappearing on offense. He's playing well enough to be owned in most formats right now, and keep in mind that in the season's last meaningful week he will have four games.

Thu Mar 28 201302:07Reggie Evans goes for 22 points, 26 rebounds
Reggie Evans caught fire early and didn't stop on Wednesday, hitting 9-of-13 shots to tie a career high with 22 points, and hauled in a career-high 26 rebounds in an easy win over the Blazers.
This is one of the better rebounding performances you'll ever see, and we're only hoping that owners of Evans had the foresight to have him in their lineups tonight. Given the fact that 28 teams were in action and tough lineup decisions had to be made, it would not be surprising if he was on a bunch of benches tonight. Evans is a beast right now and has collected 22 or more board in three of his last six games. His previous season high in scoring was 14 and this was just the fifth time this season he's scored in double figures, which is why he still might be available in your league.

Thu Mar 21 201300:36Reggie Evans grabs 22 boards...again
Reggie Evans had four points on 2-of-5 shooting and hauled in 22 rebounds in 32 minutes of Wednesday's win over the Mavericks.
He's had 22 or more rebounds in three of his last seven games, including on Sunday against the Hawks. Tonight's line was classic Evans, featuring a ton of rebounds and nothing else, but if you are desperate for boards, there's a great chance he'll help you in that category.

Sun Mar 17 201322:58Reggie Evans notches 14 & 22 in home loss
Reggie Evans came out of nowhere to score 14 points and grab 22 rebounds in Sunday's disappointing home loss to the Hawks.
Evans went 6-of-7 from the field, with all but one of his makes coming in the paint, and he did his damage in just 32 minutes. Some freaky rebound totals are to be expected from Evans, who leads the NBA in rebound rate (24.9 percent), but that's almost always the extent of his value.

Fri Mar 8 201323:06Reggie Evans grabs 24 boards vs. Wizards
Reggie Evans cleaned the glass in Friday's win over the Wizards with 24 boards, adding 11 points and one steal in 32 minutes.
In a comical twist, the Wizards did a hack-a-Reggie and he shot just 5-of-16 from the line. The Brooklyn crowd have Evans a nice ovation on his last make of the game and they clearly appreciated his effort. He doesn't have much fantasy value since he's only a one-category asset.

Thu Feb 21 201300:18Reggie Evans plays through the flu
Reggie Evans (illness) played 21 minutes against the Bucks and scored three points with five boards, one assist and two steals on Wednesday.
He is a heck of a rebounder, but he may very well be the worst offensive player in the NBA. Evans shoots just 23 percent on his jumpers, which is incredible considering only five of his 26 attempts have come from outside the paint. He's good for just one category and isn't worth owning in standard leagues.

Tue Feb 19 201318:57Reggie Evans ready to play Tuesday
Reggie Evans (illness) will play in Tuesday's game against the Bucks.
Evans missed shootaround to get some extra rest. He'll be fine for his usual rebounding role in the starting five.

Tue Feb 19 201310:39Reggie Evans sick, probable to play Tuesday
Reggie Evans skipped shootaround with an illness but he is probable to play on Tuesday against the Bucks.
The rebounding specialist should be available in Brooklyn's first game out of the All-Star break.

Tue Feb 12 201300:06Reggie Evans grabs 22 boards, blocks two
Reggie Evans grabbed 22 boards in a win over the Pacers on Monday to go with eight points, one steal and two blocks in 43 minutes.
He had a big rebound and tip-in during overtime and the two blocks set a season high. Evans had just six blocks on the season before Monday and he's really only good for rebounds. He's more of a specialist, but rebounds can be easy to acquire on the wire, so he's not worth owning in most standard situations.
