Thu Dec 18 201419:14Tony Romo: (Back) Practices Fully Thursday
Romo (back) practiced fully Thursday, Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Romo has upheld his normal practice schedule -- an absence followed by a full showing -- but his Week 16 opponent, the Colts, won't be a pushover, as they've held three of the last four opposing quarterbacks below 200 yards passing.
Thu Dec 18 201414:10Tony Romo: (Back) Returns To Practice Thursday
Romo (back) returned to practice Thursday, the Dallas Morning News reports.
One day removed from his normal maintenance day to kick off the week, Romo was back in action, likely as a full participant. The preceding will be confirmed following the release of Thursday's injury report, but he can now focus his attention on a Colts defense that has been rather stingy toward quarterbacks of late, yielding 207.8 passing yards per game and three touchdown tosses over the last four outings.
Wed Dec 17 201413:58Tony Romo: (Back) No Practice Wednesday
Romo (back) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, the Cowboys' official site reports.
An absence in the first practice of the week isn't out of the ordinary for Romo, who did participate in the morning walkthrough prior to drills. Expect him to return Thursday, per usual, after tossing three touchdowns in four of the past five games.

Romo (back) completed 22-of-31 passes for 265 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 38-27 win over the Eagles.
All three touchdowns went to Dez Bryant, who dominated Eagles cornerback Bradley Fletcher. Romo was excellent for a second straight week, after struggling against the Eagles on Thanksgiving. He seems to have regained his mobility, and did not show any signs of being limited by the back injury. Romo gets an interesting home matchup in Week 16, with the Cowboys facing an up-and-down Indianapolis defense in what could shape up as a shootout.

Romo (back) is listed as active for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports.
With the Cowboys having last played on Dec. 4, Romo has had some added time to bounce back from his aches and pains as he takes aim Sunday at an Eagles' defense that he had a rough time against in the team's 33-10 loss on Thanksgiving.
Fri Dec 12 201415:47Romo (back) probable for Sunday's game against Philadelphia
Romo (back) is probable for Sunday's game against Philadelphia.
Romo took a beating against Philadelphia on Thanksgiving and clearly wasn't himself by the end of it, but it was reassuring to see Romo complete 21-of-26 passes against Chicago for 205 yards and three touchdowns. Still, he'll need better protection from his offensive line this time around to fully capitalize on a vulnerable Philadelphia pass defense.
Thu Dec 11 201419:36Tony Romo: (Back) Practices In Full Thursday
Romo (back) practiced in full Thursday, the Cowboys' official site reports.
After missing Wednesday's practice, status quo is ruling the day in Romo's world. With little to worry about entering Sunday's divisional matchup at Philadelphia, owners will hope that he can exploit an Eagles defense that has given up 296 passing yards per game and nine touchdown throws over the last five contests.
Wed Dec 10 201417:54Tony Romo: (Back) Doesn't Practice Wednesday
Romo (back) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, ESPN Dallas reports.
Prior to practice, Romo participated in a morning walkthrough, meaning he wasn't held out entirely Wednesday. Expect him to make his usual return to drills Thursday, but with additional rest afforded the Cowboys following back-to-back Thursday affairs, his back is likely healthier than it's been since their Week 11 bye. With a rematch against the Eagles on tap Sunday, he'll aim to fare better than his Thanksgiving performance in which he completed 18-for-29 passes for 199 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

Romo completed 21-of-26 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns in Thursday's 41-28 win over the Bears.
The Cowboys largely leaned on DeMarco Murray, who not only carried 32 times for 179 yards, but also accounted for nine of the team's 21 receptions. Romo was very efficient when needed, notably throwing a trio of touchdowns in an eight-minute span surrounding halftime. His Week 15 matchup looks quite a bit more difficult, as he'll face the Eagles in Philadelphia for a rematch of what was arguably his worst showing of the season.
Thu Dec 4 201419:07Romo (back) listed as active for Thursday's game against Bears
Romo (back) is listed as active for Thursday's game against the Bears, ESPN's Todd Archer reports.
Romo, who will try to bounce back from a subpar effort in the Cowboys' loss to the Eagles on Thanksgiving, will take aim Thursday at a Bears' defense that is allowing an average of 270.7 passing yards per game to date. Only the Ravens and Falcons are surrendering more.
Wed Dec 3 201417:09Tony Romo: (Back) Probable For Thursday
Romo (back) is listed as probable for Thursday's game at Chicago.
The Cowboys are taking the field in back-to-back Thursday tilts, which forced Romo to log his maintenance day Sunday. He followed the absence with three consecutive full practices, making active status in Week 14 a mere formality. Romo will look to tee off on a Bears defense that has been strafed repeatedly this season, including at least 300 yards allowed through the air in four of the past five games.
Tue Dec 2 201416:41Tony Romo: Practices Fully Tuesday
Romo (back) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice.
Romo did not look 100 percent in last week's game, but he has been able to practice fully Monday and Tuesday this week, so it does not appear he is in any danger of sitting out Thursday against the Bears.
Mon Dec 1 201412:45Romo (back) returned to practice Monday
Romo (back) returned to practice Monday, the Dallas Morning News reports.
With the Cowboys playing two straight Thursday games, the team practiced Sunday, with Romo getting his customary weekly rest day. He's on track to be listed as probable for Thursday night's game against the Bears.

Romo (back) completed 18-of-29 passes for 199 yards in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. He did not throw a touchdown pass but did throw two interceptions in the game.
Romo did not look comfortable Thursday, and his statistics showed it, as he threw multiple interceptions for the first time since Week 1 and failed to throw a touchdown pass for the first time in 39 games. He will have an opportunity to get back on track next week against a Bears defense that has given up more passing touchdowns than any team in the league.
Thu Nov 27 201415:17Tony Romo: (Back) Active Thursday
Romo (back) is active for Thursday's game against the Eagles, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports.
Romo has accumulated a 6-1 Thanksgiving day record en route to 165-of-248 passing for 2,033 yards with 18 touchdowns versus six interceptions. Because the Eagles have given up two-plus touchdown passes in all but one game in 2014, he's a great bet to uphold the aforementioned standard.
Wed Nov 26 201418:41Tony Romo: (Back) Probable For Thursday
Romo (back) is listed as probable for Thursday's game versus the Eagles, ESPN Dallas reports.
Romo practiced in full the last two days, which should provide confidence enough in the minds of owners. Further aiding his cause, his opponent, the Eagles, have surrendered two or more touchdowns in all but one game this season.
Tue Nov 25 201419:13Tony Romo: (Back) Practices Fully Tuesday
Romo (back) practiced in full Tuesday, the Cowboys' official site reports.
After failing to take part in drills Monday, Romo returned as a full participant just one day later. As a result, there's little worry surrounding his availability for Thursday's divisional showdown against the Eagles, who have yielded multiple touchdown passes in 10 of 11 games this season.

Romo (back) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice report posted by the Cowboys in advance of Thursday's game against the Eagles.
We'll revisit Romo's status Tuesday, but with no reported setbacks Sunday against the Giants, there's nothing to suggest that he won't be on the field Thursday against the Eagles.

Romo (back) completed 18-of-26 passes for 275 yards and four touchdowns in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Giants.
DeMarco Murray piled up 121 yards on 24 carries, allowing Romo to toss four touchdowns without throwing many passes. The Dallas offense struggled a bit in the early going, but then dominated after halftime. Seven different Cowboys recorded receptions of 15 yards or longer, even though Dez Bryant and Jason Witten were the only players with more than three targets. Romo will likely need to throw more than 26 passes on Thanksgiving against the up-tempo Eagles, who have been quite friendly to opposing passers this season, at least from a fantasy perspective.
Sun Nov 23 201419:18Romo (back) active for Sunday's game against Giants
Romo (back) is active for Sunday's game against the Giants, ESPN's Todd Archer reports.
As expected, though it will be interesting to see how the Cowboys manage Romo's practice reps next week, with the team back in action this coming Thursday against the Eagles.
