Mon Dec 9 201317:44Toney Douglas a game-time call again
Toney Douglas (leg) is a game-time decision for Monday's game against the Bobcats.
This is nothing new and he's been a game-time call a handful of times. Douglas basically has no value while Stephen Curry is healthy.

Sat Dec 7 201320:18Toney Douglas is still out on Saturday
Toney Douglas (leg) will not play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.
He should be back soon and he's about two weeks past his original prognosis with the stress reaction to his tibia. Douglas has almost no fantasy value while Stephen Curry is healthy.

Fri Dec 6 201318:43Toney Douglas still doubtful for Friday night
Coach Mark Jackson said Toney Douglas (leg) is doubtful to play against the Rockets.
He's been back at practice and is nearing a return. Douglas won't have much value while Stephen Curry is healthy, though.

Thu Dec 5 201316:03Toney Douglas (leg) back at practice Thursday
Toney Douglas (leg) was able to practice on Thursday, setting up a possible return to action Friday vs. the Rockets.
With Douglas and Andre Iguodala (hamstring) unavailable, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have averaged well over 40 minutes over the past week, and Draymond Green has also taken on a bigger role. Douglas' return will be a relief for the Warriors' backcourt rotation, in other words, even if he doesn't offer fantasy value outside of deep leagues.

Mon Dec 2 201316:31Toney Douglas still out of the lineup
Toney Douglas (leg) won't play on Tuesday night at home against the Raptors.
He has been out for a few weeks with a stress reaction and should be back soon. Douglas was backing up Stephen Curry at point guard, but he won't have much value while the team is healthy in the backcourt.

Tue Nov 12 201321:38Toney Douglas to miss two weeks w/ leg injury
Toney Douglas will miss two weeks of action after being diagnosed with a stress reaction in his left fibia.
Andre Iguodala will be playing some back up point guard for as long as Douglas is out, and this could become a real issue if Stephen Curry has anymore ankle problems.

Sat Nov 9 201305:47Douglas scores 21 points, hits five triples
Toney Douglas scored 21 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 8-of-14 shots (including five threes) with two rebounds and one assist in 28 minutes.
Douglas is just as likely to disappear the next time out, with or without Stephen Curry around. Still, last night's result was further confirmation that Douglas is Curry's backup over Kent Bazemore, who was a DNP-CD last night. If Curry misses more time or gets hurt down the road, Douglas will be the better fantasy play and owners will want to note that Andre Iguodala is ahead of both of them for point guard duties in general.

Tue Jul 9 201313:49Toney Douglas agrees to deal w/ Warriors
Toney Douglas has accepted a contract offer from the Warriors.
After watching Jarrett Jack sign with the Cavaliers, Golden State pounced on a quality reserve guard known for tough defense, but who also knocked down 38.0 percent of his 3-pointers last season. The four-year veteran isn't likely to be a viable fantasy option while Stephen Curry is healthy.

Wed Apr 17 201321:54Toney Douglas will not play on Wednesday
Tony Douglas (left hip) will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday.
He had a 15-point game on Friday in a loss to the Spurs, but was quiet in his last two games. His season will end averaging 7.5 points on 40.3 percent shooting.

Sat Apr 13 201302:42Douglas gets the ball in Friday's loss to SA
Toney Douglas scored 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds, seven assists and four steals in Friday's loss to the Spurs.
Keith Smart played eight guys for 20 minutes or more and the ninth and tenth guys both eclipsed 17 minutes. Needless to say, there is not a person in the world that understands Smart's rotations, so we're taking the entire box score with a grain of salt and telling owners to cross their fingers and hope for the best when deploying their usual Kings assets.

Sun Apr 7 201321:44Toney Douglas steps up w/ 14 bench points
Toney Douglas logged 24 minutes on Sunday, his most playing time in a month, finishing a loss to the Grizzlies with 14 points, two 3-pointers, four rebounds, two assists and four steals.
Douglas and the Kings' second unit played well against the short-handed Grizzlies, so Keith Smart gave them far more run than usual. Jimmer Fredette scored 13 points with two 3-pointers (plus zero assists and four turnovers), and even Cole Aldrich had two boards and two blocks in 15 minutes.

Wed Mar 20 201301:44Toney Douglas leads Kings to unlikely win
Toney Douglas played the entire fourth quarter and hit three 3-pointers on his way to 19 points, seven assists and a steal on 6-of-10 shooting in 26 minutes as the Kings shocked the Clippers on Tuesday.
Douglas took over in the fourth quarter, hitting all three of his bombs and leading the team's offense while Isaiah Thomas sat on the bench. This was Douglas' best game with the Kings and his highest scoring output since he scored 22 points way back on Dec. 4. He's clearly favored over Jimmer Fredette to back up Thomas going forward, but hasn't been doing enough to make him worth owning in most fantasy leagues. Just keep an eye on him.

Thu Mar 7 201301:57Toney Douglas plays 28 minutes in loss
Toney Douglas played a season-high (with the Kings) 28 minutes and had 10 points, three rebounds, six assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 3-of-6 shooting in the Kings' loss on Wednesday.
Douglas got run over Isaiah Thomas tonight, but this looks like a fluke to us. Keep an eye on him, but look for Thomas to be back to his 30 minutes on Friday against the Suns.

Thu Feb 21 201311:18Kings new players expected to join team Fri.
The new Kings players are expected to join the team on Friday.
Douglas, Cole Aldrich and Patrick Patterson should be with the Kings on Friday and should be available to play in Sacramento's next game as long as there are no issues with their physicals.

Wed Feb 20 201320:24Toney Douglas sent to Sacramento
Toney Douglas has been traded to the Sacramento Kings.
He's been outplayed by rookie Patrick Beverley, so there really was no downside to the Rockets sending him packing. What's more, Houston also has last year's NCAA leader in assists in Scott Machado. Beverley gains some value and he'd be an interesting pickup in the event of an injury to Jeremy Lin. Even though Keith Smart could start Toney Douglas at center, we'd leave him on the wire in almost all formats.

Mon Feb 11 201318:22Toney Douglas (hip) sits out Monday practice
Toney Douglas (hip) did not practice on Monday.
He was a game-time decision before sitting out Sunday's game, and there's no reason to gamble on him during Houston's two-game week.

Sun Feb 10 201321:34Toney Douglas (hip) sits out on Sunday
Toney Douglas (hip) did not play on Sunday.
He was technically a game-time decision but this comes as no surprise, and we're considering him questionable for the Rockets' games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Sun Feb 10 201314:48Toney Douglas a game-time decision Sunday
Toney Douglas (hip) is a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Kings.
Douglas probably won't play and he was in serious pain with the injury on Friday. Patrick Beverly will see more minutes behind Jeremy Lin with Toney Douglas out of the lineup.

Sat Feb 9 201311:43Toney Douglas day-to-day with hip pointer
Toney Douglas did not return after leaving Friday's game with a hip pointer.
Douglas said he'll stretch and get treatment and said the area was "real sore" after the game. The Rockets are calling him day-to-day and we'd call him questionable for Sunday's game against the Kings. Patrick Beverly will serve as Jeremy Lin's backup as long as Douglas is sidelined.
