Fri Nov 29 201312:20Brandon Rush hopes to play Friday vs. Suns
Brandon Rush (knee) said that "I think my knee is fine. Everything else is fine. I think I'm ready to go."
The Jazz currently boast the leagues worst record of 2-14 and can use all the help they can get. That being said, Rush is coming off a major knee injury, and will likely be eased back into the rotation, limiting his fantasy value. Use a wait-and-see approach.

Brandon Rush (knee) returned to practice on Wednesday and said that he may return to Utah's lineup for Friday's home game vs. the Suns.
"I think I'm taking a step forward," Rush said. "If I feel pretty good, I'll probably end up playing [Friday]." The Jazz can use all available assistance to improve their 2-14 record but Rush isn't likely to be a fantasy asset while he eases his way back into the rotation.

Wed Nov 27 201311:55Brandon Rush (knee) will practice Wednesday
Brandon Rush (knee) will return to practice on Wednesday.
He made a few brief cameos in mid-November but hasn't been on the court since. It's reasonable to think he'll be on a minute-limit, at least initially, and he doesn't have any short-term fantasy appeal.

Wed Nov 20 201312:48Brandon Rush (knee) out again Wednesday
Brandon Rush (knee) will sit out again on Wednesday.
His knee may not have reacted well to playing 10 minutes on Nov. 10, and the Jazz are wisely holding him out a while longer. A handful of minutes await him at SG and SF upon his return.

Mon Nov 18 201319:37Brandon Rush still out on Monday
Brandon Rush (knee) will not play on Monday night.
He played 10 minutes back on Nov. 10, but the Jazz have kept him out of the lineup since then. Rush may have wanted to suit up against his old team, but he'll have to wait until later in the season. Marvin Williams and Richard Jefferson should continue to get more of the minutes at small forward.

Fri Nov 8 201315:48Brandon Rush is available on Friday
Brandon Rush is available to play on Friday night against the Bulls.
He played 10 minutes in his season debut on Tuesday, the was rested in Wednesday's game against the Celtics. Rush is 12 months removed from an ACL tear and teams almost always ease players back into action. Regardless, he's still more of an secondary piece in the rotation and is not worth owning in almost any league.

Tue Nov 5 201322:41Brandon Rush fails to score in 10 minutes
Brandon Rush made his season debut from knee surgery on Tuesday, but failed to attempt a shot or score a point in 10 minutes of action.
With Alec Burks in front of him and Rush working his way back to full strength, he should be ignored until further notice.

Tue Nov 5 201318:29Brandon Rush (knee) will return on Tuesday
Brandon Rush (knee surgery) will see minutes in the first half on Tuesday, according to Tyrone Corbin.
Rush may only play one first-half stint and he's unlikely to play many minutes, but it'll be great to see him on the court after a lengthy rehab. With career averages of 9.1 points and 1.4 threes per game, he's worth keeping an eye on in deep leagues.

Tue Nov 5 201312:17Brandon Rush close to returning for Jazz
Brandon Rush's (knee) recent tweets indicate that he may play in Tuesday's game against New Jersey.
Though listed as "out" on the team's injury report, Rush tweeted, "might see some action n the game tonight" and was present at the team's shootaround Tuesday morning. Even if Rush does play Tuesday night, he's still not in game shape and won't see major minutes so this isn't a situation that fantasy owners should be getting too excited about.

Mon Nov 4 201312:24Williams (Achilles), Rush (knee) ramp up work
Marvin Williams (Achilles) and Brandon Rush (knee) will both increase their activity during Monday's practice, but neither player's return is imminent.
Both guys played three-on-three last Monday but they should be viewed as 'out indefinitely' until the Jazz provide a meaningful update to their timetables.

Mon Oct 28 201319:34Brandon Rush plays three-on-three
Brandon Rush played three-on-three Monday as he continues to recover from knee surgery.
He's still not in game shape and there's not timetable on his return as of yet. He should be a part of the rotation once he's ready to go, but it could take him all year to get back into peak condition.

Tue Oct 15 201312:59Brandon Rush to have knee checked Oct. 26
Brandon Rush will have his surgically-repaired knee re-evaluated on Oct. 26.
Rush has been increasing his activity recently but he's still not cleared to play 5-on-5, and his conditioning isn't close to being game-ready. The Oct. 26 appointment could clear him for full activity, but even so his status for opening night would be questionable.

Mon Oct 14 201312:20Brandon Rush (knee) not close to game shape
When Brandon Rush (knee) was asked if he's nearing game shape, he replied, "I don't think I'm even close."
He was cleared for contact in late September but he's coming off a long rehabilitation from ACL surgery, and it may take him a while to get up to speed. Once healthy he should earn substantial minutes as a reserve swingman behind Alec Burks and Gordon Hayward.

Mon Sep 30 201315:37Brandon Rush (ACL) cleared for contact
Brandon Rush (ACL surgery) was cleared for contact last week.
Rush tore his ACL in November last year and it sounds like he'll be ready to go for opening night. He's expected to play a reliable role in Utah's rotation, backing up Alec Burks and Gordon Hayward at SG and SF, respectively.

Mon Jul 29 201309:41Brandon Rush will be a regular for Jazz
Brandon Rush (knee) will be a regular in the Jazz rotation for this season.
He tore his right ACL in the second game of last season and has been on track to be ready for training camp in September. Rush also tore his left ACL back in 2007, so he'll certainly want to make sure he's ready to go. He'll back up Alec Burks and Gordon Hayward for a Jazz team that really lacks perimeter scoring. For what it's worth, Burks and Hayward could have a lot of shots and chances to make plays this season.

Sat Jul 6 201309:17Brandon Rush expected to be ready for camp
Brandon Rush's (torn ACL) agent says client "should be ready to go" for training camp.
Rush blew out his knee during the second game of last season. As we saw with Derrick Rose, sometimes a full year still isn't enough for a player to get back to 100 percent. Utah's starting five should be set anyway with Trey Burke, Alec Burks, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter.

Fri Jul 5 201316:27Brandon Rush lands with Jazz in trade
Jazz acquired G/F Brandon Rush via a trade with the Warriors.
Rush tore his ACL during the second game of last season and is questionable for training camp. If healthy, he's a big wing that can help Utah's outside shooting. If not, he won't hurt them as he holds a $4 million contract that will expire in 2014.

Fri Jun 14 201311:52Brandon Rush exercises player option on deal
Brandon Rush exercised his player option for the 2013/14 season.
A no-brainer for Rush as he's coming off of ACL surgery. He's going to provide a great option off the bench for the Warriors behind Harrison Barnes, and he'll be playing next season to prove that he's healthy after a lost year due to injury.
