Ross Ohlendorf was charged with four runs over five innings in Sunday night's start against the Mets.
He gave up nine hits and was removed after 70 pitches. Ohlendorf has struggled with velocity issues since coming off the disabled list and was consistently in the 86-93 mph range. Despite the shaky outing, he managed to come away with a no-decision and avoid his first loss of the season. Ohlendorf has a 2.98 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over 48 1/3 innings.

Ross Ohlendorf played catch Tuesday and reported no issues with his right shoulder.
Ohlendorf was placed on the disabled list at the beginning of this month with inflammation in his pitching shoulder. He should start throwing bullpen sessions later this week and could begin a minor league rehab assignment by the middle of next week. The hope is that he'll be ready for activation around mid-August.

Nationals placed RHP Ross Ohlendorf on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to August 1, with right shoulder inflammation.
Ohlendorf's velocity was down in his last relief appearance, as he appears to be going through a dead arm phase. It's not clear at this point how long he'll be sidelined. With Ross Detwiler possibly out for the year, Ohlendorf had been poised to enter the rotation when Taylor Jordan was shut down. Obviously that's up in the air now.
