Fri Nov 26 202121:22Richaun Holmes Absent Again On Friday Night
Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes (eye) is out for Friday's game against the Lakers. During the veteran's most recent appearance against OKC, he took a poke to the right eye, which caused him to miss the team's previous matchup against the Trail Blazers on Thanksgiving Eve. As a result, Alex Len, who had 12 points as a member of the starting lineup against Portland, is expected to retain the same role against L.A. However, with Harrison Barnes (foot) also out, it appears as Marvin Bagley III could be a better fantasy option, especially after nearly compiling a double-double on Wednesday night.

Wed Nov 24 202120:01Richaun Holmes Is Questionable On Wednesday
Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes (eye) is questionable against Portland. The 28-year-old was poked in the right eye during Monday's loss to Philadelphia and is now dealing with a contusion. Nonetheless, fantasy managers likely won't know Holmes' status until closer to tip-off. However, if he can't go, Chimezie Metu, Tristan Thompson, and even Marvin Bagley III could be in line for more work. Still, all are risky fantasy options, especially with new interim head coach Alvin Gentry mixing things up with the rotation.

Sun Nov 21 202109:24Richaun Holmes Ends Saturday Night With 22 Points
Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes almost had a perfect shooting night against Utah on Saturday, finishing 9-for-10 from the field and 4-for-5 at the foul line on his way to a team-high 22 points. He also registered seven rebounds and one block in 31 minutes. Holmes had a 20-rebound game earlier in the month but his work on the boards has been pretty disappointing in recent games, and his scoring numbers don't really stand out too often either. As a center, Holmes starts off next week with very difficult matchups against the Sixers and the Blazers, who both have great rebounders patrolling the paint.

Sat Nov 6 202109:29Richaun Holmes Produces Monster 20-20 Game
Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes delivered one of the best games of his career in Friday's victory over the Hornets. Holmes was a beast in the paint, scoring 23 points while pulling down 20 rebounds with two assists. The Bowling Green product had tallied a double-double by halftime in yet another impressive performance, as well as a resounding bounce-back following a disappointing effort his last time out. Holmes has averaged 15.9 points, 11.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting 69.4 percent from the field. He'll get a tricky matchup on Sunday against Myles Turner and the Pacers.

Mon Nov 1 202106:00Richaun Holmes Comes Through With Season-Best Outing
Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes came through for fantasy managers at the end of Week 2 with a massive performance against the Dallas Mavericks. Despite losing 105-99, the big man set new season-highs in points, rebounds, steals, and field-goal attempts. Across 27 minutes, Holmes compiled 22 points on 9-for-15 shooting, with 13 rebounds, two steals, and a rarely made three-pointer. It was his fourth double-double in six games, and he's averaging 16.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game on the young season. The 28-year old has been a top-50 player for most of the last two campaigns, and he's starting another year on the right foot with this current batch of performances. The Kings play four games in Week 3, and the extra games will continue to bolster Holmes' early-season ranking in all formats.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) — Houston's Russell Westbrook hasn't made it to the NBA restart yet.The coronavirus did — but health protocols seemed to work as the league and its players hoped they would. On a day of troubling news for the league — Westbrook revealing that he has tested positive for the virus and two other players facing 10-day quarantines for leaving the league campus perimeter at Walt Disney World — it was also announced that two players tested positive for the virus after arriving in Central Florida last week. But neither of those positive players ever made it out of quarantine, so neither entered the so-called bubble and could mingle freely with other players, coaches and staff. The NBA said both players, neither of whom were identified, “have since left the Campus to isolate at home or in isolation housing.” They could rejoin their teams later.“Our protocols are unbelievable,” said Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, one of the players who helped craft the restart rules.... (AP) — Russell Westbrook of the Houston Rockets said Monday that he has tested positive for coronavirus, and that he plans to eventually join his team at the restart of the NBA season.Westbrook made the revelation on social media. As recently as Sunday, the Rockets believed that Westbrook and James Harden — neither of whom traveled with the team to Walt Disney World near Orlando last week — would be with the team in the next few days.In Westbrook's case, that now seems most unlikely.“I tested positive for covid-19 prior to my teams departure to Orlando," Westbrook wrote on his Instagram page. “I'm currently feeling well, quarantined, and looking forward to rejoining my teammates when I am cleared."Westbrook is averaging 27.5 points, eight rebounds and seven assists per game for the Rockets this season.
