Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes (eye) is out for Friday's game against the Lakers. During the veteran's most recent appearance against OKC, he took a poke to the right eye, which caused him to miss the team's previous matchup against the Trail Blazers on Thanksgiving Eve. As a result, Alex Len, who had 12 points as a member of the starting lineup against Portland, is expected to retain the same role against L.A. However, with Harrison Barnes (foot) also out, it appears as Marvin Bagley III could be a better fantasy option, especially after nearly compiling a double-double on Wednesday night.

The 28-year old has been a top-50 player for most of the last two campaigns, and he's starting another year on the right foot with this current batch of performances. The Kings play four games in Week 3, and the extra games will continue to bolster Holmes' early-season ranking in all formats.
