Ackley is back in the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays, Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Ackley will cover center field and bat eighth in the order after spending the first two games of the series on the bench. The outfielder owns a .226 on-base percentage for the season and will only have a tougher time picking up consistent at-bats once Austin Jackson (ankle) returns from the DL.

Ackley is not in the starting lineup Saturday against Toronto left-hander Mark Buehrle, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
The Mariners have not started Ackley against a left-handed starter yet this season, so it's safe to consider this a strict platoon. The Mariners will use Justin Ruggiano in center field Saturday while Rickie Weeks draws into the lineup to play left.

Justin Ruggiano will get a rare start against a right-hander (Clay Buchholz) as Ackley sits following six straight starts. Ackley went 0-for-4 in Thursday's loss to Boston to lower his batting line to .191/.213/.326 through 96 plate appearances.
Sat May 9 201510:57Ackley singled Friday for just fourth hit in last 30 at-bats
Ackley singled Friday for just his fourth hit in his last 30 at-bats.
Ackley hit three homers and a double in his first five games this year but has just one extra-base hit in 21 games since (a double). In 76 plate appearances, he has three walks. Ackley is out of options, so the Mariners can't send him down. He could get benched, though, if he doesn't start hitting soon.

Ackley singled Thursday for just his fifth hit (all singles) in his last 39 at-bats after starting the season 6-for-17 with three home runs and a double.
Ackley has seven strikeouts and one walk in that time too. On other hand, 14 games in April, the span of his slump, is not a big sample size to judge. Still, if he doesn't show consistent life at the plate for the first time in four years, he could see his playing time dry up.
Thu Apr 30 201516:39Ackley back in lineup Thursday against Astros
Ackley is back in the lineup Thursday against the Astros.
Ackley has not started since Sunday, but he's logged a pinch hit at-bat in each of the last two games. He'll be back at his usual left field spot Thursday as Rickie Weeks moves to the bench.

Ackley is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.
Ackley was surprisingly held out of Monday's lineup against right-handed Yovani Gallardo, but with lefty Ross Detwiler going for the Rangers on Tuesday, it was expected that Ackley would sit. Rickie Weeks and Justin Ruggiano are manning the corner-outfield sports.

Ackley has received most of his days off when facing a southpaw, but he'll head to the bench Monday against the right-handed Yovani Gallardo. Rickie Weeks will make the start in left field and bat sixth in his stead.

Ackley will take a seat with lefty Ross Detwiler on the hill for the Rangers, giving way to Justin Ruggiano in left field. Manager Lloyd McClendon has sat Ackley each time a southpaw has taken the hill for the opposing team this year, and Sunday will be no different.
Wed Apr 15 201517:43Ackley out of lineup Wednesday against Dodgers
Ackley is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Dodgers, Eric Stephens of True Blue LA reports.
Ackley will sit for a second straight day with another lefty on the mound for the Dodgers. With the right-handed Yovani Gallardo considered the probable pitcher for the Mariners' next game Friday, it's likely that he'll rejoin the lineup then.
Tue Apr 14 201518:19Ackley out of lineup Tuesday against Dodgers
Ackley is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
Rickie Weeks will take over in left field and atop the order Tuesday against left-hander David Huff. It appears as though Ackley and Weeks will indeed be deployed in a platoon moving forward, with Ackley seeing the lion's share of the starts as the lefty bat.

Ackley is out of the lineup Friday against the A's.
Manager Lloyd McClendon will stack his lineup with primarily right-handed bats against lefty Drew Pomeranz, with the exceptions being Robinson Cano, Kyle Seager and Logan Morrison. Ackley will sit in favor of Rickie Weeks, who will make his first career regular-season appearance in left field and bat leadoff for the second time this season.
Tue Apr 7 201518:35Ackley out of lineup Tuesday
Ackley is out of the lineup Tuesday.
With lefty C.J. Wilson on the mound, Ackley (along with Seth Smith) will sit, with Nelson Cruz moving to right field, Justin Ruggiano taking over in left field and Rickie Weeks starting at DH. While Ackley can be a serviceable option when he's in the lineup against righties, the expectation should be that he will sit whenever the opposing team's starting pitcher is a lefty.
Mon Apr 6 201519:12Ackley hit first homer of year Monday in season-opening win agai...
Ackley hit his first homer of the year Monday in a season-opening win against the Angels.
Great way to start the year for Ackley, who has a bit of pressure on him this year to produce like the 2009 second overall pick should. Last year he homered in his fifth game, but it took him more than a month to hit his next one. Hopefully, he finds more consistency this season. Ackley could be benched Tuesday, though, for Rickie Weeks as the Mariners are scheduled to face a left-handed starter.
