Mon Jan 10 201114:44Eyenga misses practice, in walking boot
Christian Eyenga, the new starting small forward for the Cavs, missed Monday's practice with an ankle injury and was in a walking boot.
He injured the ankle on Sunday night and played through it, but it now sounds like that might have been a bad idea. That should mean more Joey Graham and Alonzo Gee if he's out, while it could also mean a few more minutes and touches for guys like Manny Harris and J.J. Hickson. Consider Eyenga questionable for Tuesday's game at the Lakers.

Sun Jan 9 201122:34Eyenga avoids injury scare in start for Cavs
The Cavaliers started Christian Eyenga at SF on Sunday, and he responded with eight points, five rebounds, one steal, and two blocks. He shot 4-of-10 from the field in 27 minutes.
Eyenga twisted his ankle at one point but returned and didn't seem limited. He is well worth keeping an eye on, as he could hold onto the starting gig, but it's too early to pick him up. Alonzo Gee could steal his minutes, and Anthony Parker will too once he's healthy.
Sun Jan 9 201115:17Christian Eyenga may see first start for Cavs
Christian Eyenga is likely to be in the starting lineup for Cleveland Sunday night when they face the Phoenix.
With Anthony Parker (back), Anderson Varejao (ankle), Joey Graham (quad), Daniel Gibson (ankle), and Leon Powe (knee) all out, the Cavs are in need of any fresh bodies they can find. While he hasn't wowed with his numbers, but he's done enough to gain the favor of coaches. If he can take advantage of this situation, he might be a surprise stat producer. Keep an eye on the situation.
