Lind went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk and two runs against the Pirates on Wednesday.

Like a lot of Milwaukee's hitters, Lind has been raking lately -- in the last five games, he's racked up eight hits (four of them for extra bases), four walks and eight RBI. He hit the skids for a while in July, and those struggles have taken some of the shine off his season as a whole, but Lind is nonetheless already in possession of his highest RBI total since 2011.

Lind is out of Sunday's lineup against the Reds.

Lind has been on a tear lately, with four multi-hit games since his last day off on August 18. He'll sit, while Jonathan Lucroy moves over from behind the plate and takes over first base.

Lind went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a walk in Saturday's 12-9 loss to the Reds.

Lind has had a solid August and his bat has particularly come alive over the last eight games. The veteran first baseman is hitting a blazing .355 (11-for-31) in that span, with four multi-hit outings. Despite the recent success, Lind has confounded owners this season with alternating months of excellence and mediocrity at the plate. Lind has also been stuck in a power drought over the last six weeks, with only one homer in 104 at-bats dating back to July 23.

Lind has not been playing his best ball over the past month and he has hit just one home run since July 23. Lind is not likely to be a difference maker down the stretch for fantasy owners, but it's worth noting that he's quietly put together a strong season, ranking among the top 10 first basemen in the league in RBI, doubles and on-base percentage. Give yourself a pat on the back for picking him up this season, but leave him on the bench for your stretch run.

After starting the last four games at first base, Lind willg et the day off, as Jason Rogers slots into the lineup against Marlins' left-hander Adam Conley.

Lind is out of the lineup Thursday.

With lefty Jon Lester on the mound for the Cubs, the Brewers will opt to deploy Jason Rogers at first base Thursday. The Brewers face another lefty, Adam Morgan, on Friday, so Lind is not a lock to get the start in that game either.

Lind continued his strong season Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a double and his 17th home run of the season.1

The first baseman has been a steady performer for the Brewers all season, sporting a .287 average to go with his 17 bombs. August has been especially kind to Lind, as he is hitting .394 since the calendar turned over.

Lind is out of the lineup Saturday against the Cardinals.

Lind will take a seat Saturday against left-hander Jaime Garcia, allowing Jason Rogers to fill his spot in the lineup and take over at first base. After some back tightness hindered Lind toward the end of July, the veteran first baseman has been on a tear this month, going 11-for-26 with two doubles and four RBI while also sporting a .483 OBP.

Lind had a monster game on Thursday, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored including a double and a walk in a 10-1 win over the Padres.

Lind is one of the surprises of the season, as he continues to provide top-notch production. His numbers against righties are what's really carrying him, as he is hitting .297 with an OPS at .900. All his homers and 55 of his 61 RBI have come off righties as well.

Lind went 2-for-4 and scored a run in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Cubs.

After picking up just one hit in his last 23 at-bats, Lind will call anything a success. Two hits in a loss certainly isn't a gigantic momentum changer, but for a rare bright spot in an otherwise dismal Milwaukee campaign, Lind needed to break out of the slump to help both himself and his team's anemic offense. He still only has one homer in his last 10 games, but it's a start.

Lind (back) is in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Whereas Ryan Braun will be forced to miss another start due to a back issue, Lind has been cleared to return Tuesday to face right-hander Matt Cain. Lind has homered five times in July -- his highest total in any month this season -- to bring his total on the year to 16 (92 games). He managed just six last year in 96 games.

Lind (back) said he is feeling better and will be ready to return to the lineup Tuesday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Lind also said he could pinch hit in Monday's game, so his fantasy owners may be able to squeeze an at-bat out of him. He tweaked something Saturday, but thankfully, it appears to have been nothing more than that.

Lind (back) is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Giants.

Lind continues to nurse a back injury that surfaced after an at-bat in the first inning of Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks. He'll sit once again Monday, with Shane Peterson starting in his place at first base and batting seventh for the Brewers.

Lind (back) will miss Sunday's game, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Lind left Saturday's game with lower back tightness. Manager Craig Counsell did not like how Lind was moving on the field, so he decided to replace him at first base with Shane Peterson. Counsell has not said who will get the start at first base in place of Lind on Sunday. Lind could be available Monday for the start of the Brewers' series with the Giants.

Lind left Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks in the top of the third inning with low back tightness.

Lind was replaced by Shane Peterson at first base. The Brewers did not comment on the extent of the injury, so his status for the series finale on Sunday remains unclear.

Lind more or less carried the Brewers' offense in this one, as he's done much of the year. He'd been in a bit of a slump dating back to before the All-Star break, however, managing only three hits in 24 at-bats (.125) over his last seven games, but opposing pitchers haven't been able to smother his productivity too often, as he continues to work on his finest campaign since his 35-homer, 114-RBI effort in 2009 with Toronto.

Lind will start at first base and bat fifth Sunday against the Pirates.

Even with lefty Jeff Locke on the hill for the opposing Pirates, manager Craig Counsell will give Lind the starting nod. It's tough to blame him for not leaving out the team's OPS leader (.881), even when the matchup may not be favorable.

Manager Craig Counsell has rid his lineup of lefty bats with southpaw Francisco Liriano due up for Pittsburgh. Jonathan Lucroy will move out to first base as Martin Maldonado steps in behind the plate.

Lind went 2-for-5 with his 12th homer, two RBI and two runs Wednesday in a road win over the Phillies.

That this production came away from Miller Park is noteworthy, as Lind's home-road splits this year have been quite extreme -- he's hitting .343/.409/.584 in Milwaukee, but just .237/.316/.415 while traveling. Aside from a three-game stint at home against Atlanta to open next week, the Brewers will play all their remaining games before the All-Star break on the road.

Lind is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Philadelphia.

The Brewers will use a right-heavy lineup against Cole Hamels, sending Lind and Scooter Gennett to the bench. Lind has mostly stayed in the lineup against lefties of late, but he owns a .244/.295/.366 slash line against southpaws this season. Jason Rogers, who will start at first base Tuesday night, has a similarly unimpressive .209/.244/.372 slash line against lefties. The Brewers may not be pleased with what Rogers has done thus far, but it's hard to ignore Lind's long history of struggles against southpaws.
