Wed Sep 28 202216:25Jose Altuve Getting A Day Off
Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. It looks to be just a normal day of rest for the 32-year-old All-Star. Fantasy managers must act accordingly and send him to their benches for the day. Altuve is wrapping up a very strong month at the dish, hitting .357 (30-for-84) with six home runs, nine RBI, 24 runs scored and six stolen bases in 22 games in September. He's a no-brainer must-start down the stretch when he's in the lineup. Aledmys Diaz is starting at second base and batting second on Wednesday against Diamondbacks right-hander Zac Gallen. Diaz is in a nice lineup spot for DFS production, but he's facing one of the best pitchers in baseball this year.

Mauricio Dubon is starting at second base on Sunday and is hitting leadoff against Braves right-hander Charlie Morton. Dubon will have some sleeper DFS appeal out of the top spot in the Astros lineup, but he's hitting just .217/.262/.326 with four home runs, 20 RBI, 23 runs scored and one stolen base in 175 at-bats on the season.

Tue May 31 202220:47Jose Altuve Back At 2B, Kyle Tucker Still Out
Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (head) cleared the league's concussion protocol and is back at second base and is hitting leadoff on Tuesday against Oakland Athletics right-hander Frankie Montas. Meanwhile, outfielder Kyle Tucker (foot) will miss his third straight game after leaving Saturday's game with left foot pain. Altuve is hitting .350 with two home runs, three RBI and six runs in the last 10 games and needs to be returned to all fantasy lineups. Tucker did some running in the outfield before the game and should be available off the bench. The 25-year-old isn't dealing with any structural damage, so he should be able to avoid a stint on the injured list. Chas McCormick is getting another start in right field and is batting eighth against Montas on Tuesday night.
